Hi Carolyn - I have done 4 IVF's at Cornell. All the docs are excellent and if you go there, you will see almost all of them during your cycle. It is a VERY busy place, so if you need a lot of hand holding or get freaked out by busy waiting rooms, it can be difficult when you are stressed out during a cycle. Your primary doc probably won't be the one doing your retrieval or transfer, it just depends on what day it is....But, your primary is the person reviewing your file and should be available for questions. Primary daily contacts for the patients are the nurses - they do the phone contacts, etc. Even though I haven't been successful, I know many who have and I've been pleased with the level of care and attention that I received.
