Hi there! I don't know about the doctors...about the progesterone..I think it would probably depend on when the test was done during your cycle. I get my progesterone tested a week after Ovulation/IUI...my RE likes to see it at least around 20. Once there was a concern about my progesterone and my RE gave me progesterone suppositories so IF it is low, there are things that might be able to be done, so don't get upset..talk to your RE.
