Yes, I was there but boy was it crowded. There were so many women who matched yr description ... I thought it was pretty interesting - especially the first woman. I am very curious about this issue of learning difficulties which I've heard said before but never getting any definite stats so it can be a bit frustrating.
I went to an AI seminar with Jane Aronson the adoption dr profiled in this week's New Yorker. She is even more impressive in person and actually more encouraging about int'l adoption though very realistic about the problems.
