:I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! I hope that the next time you are pregnant you will see a high-risk OB. I had a cervical cerclage for 2 pregnancies because of an incompetent cervix and i've had uterine reconstruction. I was on bed rest for most of my pregnancies. I was under the care of a very conservative high-risk practice. Good luck on your next try. I don't think the timing matters. Lauren C.

can anybody advise? after 6 failed iui, my husband and i finally did an ivf cycle. We were so happy when it worked. we transferred 2 blastocycts, one split so i was carrying triplets!!!:) at 18 weeks i miscarried, due to a previously undiagnosed incompetent cervix. we've decided to do another ivf cycle and are anxious and hopeful that it will be successful. does the timing of the next ivf have any effect on the outcome? is it more likely to be succesful if we wait 2 months, 4 months, 6 months???
