Dear kma:
I am sorry to hear about your recent loss. I am not aware of any good studies showing that the timing of ivf after a failed pregnancy has a significant effect on the success rate. You should be fully recovered, and have a negative pregnancy test.
Good luck,
Serena Chen

: can anybody advise? after 6 failed iui, my husband and i finally did an ivf cycle. We were so happy when it worked. we transferred 2 blastocycts, one split so i was carrying triplets!!!:) at 18 weeks i miscarried, due to a previously undiagnosed incompetent cervix. we've decided to do another ivf cycle and are anxious and hopeful that it will be successful. does the timing of the next ivf have any effect on the outcome? is it more likely to be succesful if we wait 2 months, 4 months, 6 months???
