Leslie: I think a second opinion is terrific. Look at me, I think I went through 2-3 doctors before I let my current Dr. perform a lap on me last month. I have to say that I completely trusted (and trust) my Re and felt comfortable because the time was right. Had I not went for other "opinions" who knows where I would be right now.
My RE is kind and patient. My hard work in finding the "right mix" for me, was well worth it. It will also be well worth it for you.
I wish you luck. A good Dr. will respect you for looking into other suggestions. Hightail it out of there if they say otherwise.
