I was amused to see all the posts about Dr. Nancy Snyderman's comments on GMA. Why would she take such a negative position if she, herself, had a child in her 40s? Doesn't anyone remember? Although she has never told anyone of her experience, we can all see that she must be pushing 50, and if her child is only 5 or so, then she gave birth at an advanced maternal age. Who knows, maybe she had IVF?? All the more reason why her comments are disturbing--she should be more empathetic about mature, intelligent and loving women trying to have a child. Keep in mind, not everyone chooses to WAIT to have a child. Maybe women don't get married till late in life, and then find that they must rely on technology to help Mother Nature along. There's nothing wrong with that.
