This is my second IVF cycle (age 27), and I'm on a high responder protocol (21 days of bcp's, overlapped with 20IU's of Lupron for a week) since the first cycle yielded yielded 19 eggs but half were immature. Obviously, the goal of this cycle was to increase the number of mature eggs retrieved. I'm now on Day 5 of stims (2 amps Pergonal + 10IU's of Lupron), and my e2 is already 1100! The largest follicle is 14mm, so we're looking at a retrieval just 9 days after stims began -- this is one day EARLIER than my first cycle! I'm shocked that even on this protocol, I stimmed faster than the first cycle!

My questions are:
- Are there different degrees of high responder protocols?
- I've seen the term "coasting" used on this board -- is this one of the cases where coasting might help some of the smaller follicles developed?
- What are some of the other options for 'quick stimmers' like me?
