I am 43 and have had 2 miscarriages over the last year and a half. I had my hormones tested and they were all normal. My RE said he was "very impressed." My progesterone level, however, was a 9 on Day 21. This cycle I have taken prometrium twice daily (200 mg total). Around 7 or 8 days after O (I definitely o'ed), I had lots of sharp twinges around my ovaries and then even saw a couple of drops of blood. I assumed it was implantation bleeding. I am now 4 days before AF and have started the watery discharge. Do I need more progesterone? My RE swears they have done testing and have found that this natural progesterone will increase my progesterone level dramatically and they no longer use Crinone.
Please advise!
