Ella--I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 19. I was put on birth control pills at that point, and it controlled excess hair growth and regulated my periods. I married when I was 22, and have since had 2 children. My case may not be typical, but my experience with PCOS in my twenties was not too bad. I'm in my early thirties now, so we'll see how things go . . .
