Unfortunately, your story is not uncommon. I would urge you to have a comprehensive evaluation as much more can be done for you than simply birth control pills. This is a new era and PCOS specialists have much to offer our patients. I wish you well.
: I have one daughter, also had two miscarriages, and a failed IVF attempt resulting in failure to ovulate. I have recently been told that I have PCOS and have very irregular periods, obesity, facial hair, and have incurred much emotional and physical stress that i now take antidepressants. My gyn has suggested birth control pills which have previously caused me headaches. Also my tubes are blocked after going thru two HSG'S. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
