But how do you feel comfortable with what tests are ordered if you have no idea what tests are supposed to be ordered. What does that mean? I know there are no specific tests for PCOS, but their are specific tests to RULE OUT everything else, right? How 'bout a non-functioning pituitary tumor. Is there any way besides MRI to rule that in or out?

I know it takes time to become comfortable with your doctor, but in the meantime, you have to be your own advocate, right?
