I'm glad to hear you did well. Ovarian drilling can be helpful to decrease circulating androgen levels. However, the long term benefits are not so clear. One negative is the potential for a lot of scar tissue forming in the pelvis. No one can really tell you for sure how long the ovaries will remain as they are now. Best of luck!
: I just had surgery last Monday (7-24) I had a laparoscopy with D&C and Ovarian Drilling. I feel great! How long should this keep those little boogers away? And just how does that help? Does it just drain the cysts? They did not remove them, just drilled hundreds of holes in my ovaries. Nice pictures by the way...all test results showed PCOS and no cancer or anything bad. WHEW! But I would just like a better grasp of the procedure I had...THANKS!!!
