I have to tell all of you on this board how impressed I am with your knowledge and the physician's expertise as well. I am a former IVF patient (8 attempts.) I lost my first son due to PROM and premature labor in 1980 and was rendered infertile (surgery) by an ob/gyn who wasn't even board certified at the age of 23.
I did successfully adopt 3 beautiful daughters in 1984 and 1985 and did become pregnant on my 8th IVF attempt. My son was born healthy on Dec 23, 1989. I have PCOS and many other factors including tubal blockages that impaired my fertility.
I thought I was knowledgable until I began to read the infertility boards on occasion. I commend all of you for educating yourselves and absorbing the information the doctors have been willing to share.
