Three years ago, after several years of pain in my ovaries, they finally gave me an ultrasound. My right ovary was
completely messed up, and along with my tube, had to be removed. But I was told at the time that nothing was
wrong with my left ovary. Now, after three more years of suffering with all of the pcos symptoms, I obtained a
copy of my transvaginal ultrasound from three years ago. It clearly states that my left ovary has several scattered
subcentimeter follicles. Are these the same as cysts? I have not had another ultrasound since then because my
doctor did not think it was nessesary, but I do have a new doctor who does thik I have pcos and I am scheduled
for an ultrasound next week. I was just wondering if those follicle mentioned were normal or maybe because of the
pcos. Thanks in advance, Vicki
