If IVF is warranted for other reasons (i.e. male factor, tubal, etc.), you might want to look at the article that Drs. Spandorfer and Rosenwaks did for the AIA newsletter a few months ago on IVF and PCOS. It discusses a protocol involving suppression with birth control pills, then lupron, then stimulation with gonadotropins. It might be something that you want to share with your doctor.
