IR tests came back to day: Fasting 16Uml, 1 hour 111 U/ml, 2 hours 69 U/ml as so the GP has agreed to RX Metformin at my request. He said all the hormone tests were normal except prolactin was 48.3. My question is what do I request of my GP now as he is being guided by me (with the aid of the internet). Is it of benefit to the PCOS symptoms or my health to go on a Birth control pill (I read that Dianne 35 is the best one for PCOS)or any other treatment or tests? Also how high a dose should I go with the Met? Thanks for your help - Gayle
