I was diagnosed with PCOS in March 2000. I have just recently completed my 4th cycle of Clomid. Yesterday I had an appointment with my Dr. and had an ultrasound. He told me that I had two "good sized" follicles and gave me an HCG shot. I had an IUI today and will be having another one tomorrow. My question is when does the HCG actually make you ovulate (what's the time frame)? Does the HCG shot ALWAYS cause ovulation?? Thanks for any help!
