I am 32, PCOS, IDDM since Aug. 99 & have Kidney disease (protein in urine 249). It doesn't look like I am going to ever get off the insulin but I want to have another child. We (endo & I ) added the glucophage into the mix to see if we can get the testosterrone below 40. Here is my questions.
What is the risk of lactic acidosis?
What should I watch for?
Will the glocophage harm my kidneys?
I did not think about this when until someone mentioned LA to me the other day & I won't be seeing my endo. for a few weeks yet. I would appreciate any information you can give me.
