The symptoms you describe do suggest anemia which could be from prolonged bleeding. You should certainly see your doctor about this. Some insulin resistant individuals have "skin tags" and a dermatologic lesion called acanthosis nigricans (velvety skin at the nape of the neck, under arms, etc.) But in general, no, I don't think you'll have symtoms from the insulin resistance. Again, see your doctor and good luck!
: I would like to know if there are symptoms of being Insulin resistant. I have been getting quite pale and tired at times lately, even my gums get pale. I realize this may be due to the extended period, but does being insulin resistant have any outward signs?
: Thanks
