I am so glad that this subject was in the LHJ. I have done so many research on this. I have found nothing to answer my questions. I was dignose of PCOS one year ago. I am on Glucophage, which i have lost 40 pounds on it. I am also taking provaria every month to regulate me. I use to be on the pill and that did nothing for me. The only thing that is bothering me is my periods are still very heavy and painful. It sends me to bed the first 2 days and it is a mess. I have to lay towels down cause it is so heavy and promp my feet up to relieve the pain and flow. Also the hair growth on my body and face is out of control. It has gotten worse. I am so ashame of my face that I now shave it. I wish there was a support group here where I live. This is so depressing to me. I live in Griffin, Ga. I am 37 years old and I do not have any kids (not yet).
