I'm a mother of a daughter who has all the symptoms but her periods lasted 12-14 days at a time. She has had 2 surgeries cysts removed from ovaries. My husband was watching the Leeza Show and said the women on the show named alot of symptoms and our daughter has them all. The frustration of not knowing what was wrong with her and to find out all this info is overwhelming and at the same time scary my daughter is 17 now but has been having this problem since she was 13. Now all of her questions of why this is happening to me I can give her some answers and show her this website and show her she is not alone. She is very depressed at times and I wish I could take this pain all away for her. I would like more info. I will be asking her OB/GYN at her next appt. if she is familar with PCOS now I have alittle bit more info to take to her appt. Thanks
