You should probably get evaluated. Periods every 6 months can be sign of several problems and if you are having long periods of exposure to estrogen without periodic exposure to progesterone that can be dangerous leading to endometrtrial hyperplasia and eve, endometrial cancer. Therefore, i urge you to get treated.
