Question for a Doctor: Bloodwork Results

I just reviewed my bloodwork results with my gp for
pcos diagnosis (she would not refer me to a endo right
away per my request). My DHEA level was at 258 within
normal range compared to a few years ago at 3755.
However, my FSH and LH were both 0.5 which shows in the
range for a pregnant woman (I'm not pregnant or trying).
She has now agreed to refer me to an endo and would not
give me any other input as to these results. Can you
give me an indication what these FSH and LH levels
indicate? It is going to be the end of June before my
endo appt. Also, I have read (LHJ article) that PCOS
women should avoid birth control pills containing
Levonorgestrel since it "mimics" male hormone symptoms.
My GP has prescribed Tri-phasic which contains this, is
it a good idea to remain on them until my endo appt?
My symptoms are obesity, hirsutism, prior elevated DHEA
and problems with hypoglycemia. Recent glucose was 91.
Thyroid test also normal. Periods are normal even w/o
bc pills. No past LH or FSH were obtained.
Thank you
