Am I at the end of the road?

I am 28 and was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago. I am anovulatory and about 20 lbs overweight. I have always had irregular periods. Now they are almost nonexistent. My OB put me on Clomid 5 years ago with no success. I had to use provera inbetween to start my period. I was then referred to a RE. It has been three years now ( on and off). I have had to "wait out" between cycles due to over stimulation three times. I am currently waiting again. If the follistem is hyperstimulating my ovaries can I continue to use it? does PCOS ever correct itself? Are women with PCOS always anovulatory? Should I try anti andogen drugs? Is IVF my only other option? I tried metformin with no luck. I was terribly ill and was never able to get up to the full dose. I feel like this is the end of the road for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
