Thanks for the quick response! How do I go about posting a message for the Dr. to answer? Do they read everything that's posted? As I mentioned before, I have been living with the symptoms of PCOS for 16 years (I'm 29 now). I have been worried/obsessed my entire life about whether or not I would ever be able to concieve and carry to term a child of my own. I am proud to announce that I was able to concieve with the help of clomid after 1 cycle and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl June 1999. I guess that miracles do happen. I hope that I can give hope to others who are still trying to concieve. At this point, I would just like to "tame" some of the syptoms of PCOS. Especially the hair growth! While I understand that electrology is the only way to remove hair that is already on the body, does the medication Melformin stop new hair follicles from growing? I am breast feeding, is it safe to take while I'm nursing? I have spent more money than I can afford on electrolosis in the past. I gave up a few years ago, when the electrolosist noted that new hairs were appearing that were not finer regrowth of the original hairs. I tried the drug spirolactone in the past with no success.
