There is a doctor in Rochester who has published articles about PCOS. I don't know him personally but have read his articles. His name is David Guzick and he is at the University of Rochester. You might ask him for a referral for a doctor in the Buffalo/Albany areas. In general, a good place to look for doctors who are knowledgeable about PCOS is in the Department of Reproductive Endocrinology at university medical centers like SUNY Buffalo, Albany and Syracuse.
