: : : Lilly,
: : : Why don't you email me and we can talk. But when you are in somebody's home, and let's say, they work for Pepsi, you don't sit there at their party and tell everyone that the "official drink is coke". There is no official group. Nobody is self endowed or appointed here. We all work for the same cause. I really don't object to you suggesting that people visit other sites, but just to come to our site, just to tell people that they should go to the "official" something or other else where, seemed really rude. I would not go to someone else message board and tell them basically that they are in the wrong place. That is what your message inferred.
: : : It was the tone and the language, and that is not welcome.
: : : Pamela Madsen
: : Pamela Madsen, It is in my opinion that you and the powers that be, on THIS web site, have insecurity issues!!! How dare you tell someone not to inform women, with health issues, about a related information source? I think it would be in the best interest of ALL the women who visit the AIA web site to be forewarned about the selfish reasons this web site was built. Obviously the AIA web site was not built with the main goal of INFORMING women. And before you condemn Lilly, you might want to think about how some of AIA's members were brought to AIA's web site through word of mouth on OTHER web sites. I have never been witness, up close, to a group's insecurities. I am sure AIA's word of mouth is not going to sound so good after all this stupidity. What a shame. Sharon

: Dear Sharon,
: You obviously don't know AIA and Pamela Madsen very well, or you would never have written that ugly post. She is the kindest woman you could ever meet and has cared for this community forever mostly as a volunteer. Don't you know her story? What she was saying was very simple and quite frankly just common manners. There have been many posts on this board and site about other organizations events. That was not the point. This was not about censorship. YOU don't get it. AIA is all about informing women. That is how you found this site. It didn't cost you any money to visit here and get information. I think that this thread should be deleted and Pam if you are reading this, I vote for you to take it down. Don't let a few rotten apples spoil this sweet board!
: Sally who usually lurks but got mad
Sally, maybe I am confused!!! Can you, or anyone else explain why any potential web site that might HELP other women should be ignored??? I do not need to know Pam to know that she wiped out a possible web site, just because it was called "Official". What am I missing? Sharon
