I RECENTLY READ AN ARTICLE IN LHJ. COULD I BE SUFFERING FROM PECOS.
HERE IS MY STORY.
ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO I BEGAN WHAT MY DOCTOR REFERRED TO AS MENOPAUSE. I WAS NOT PUT ON ANY MEDICATIONS AT FIRST. I SUFFERED FROM NIGHT SWEATS, SEXUAL DISFUNCTION, DRYNESS AND NIGHT SWEATS. SEVEN YEARS AGO I BEGAN BLEEDING AND I BLED FOR A MONTH. I WAS FINALLY PUT ON PROVERA 10mg AND PREMARIN 3mg. THIS FINALLY GOT MY BLEEDING UNDER CONTROL. I LOST 1/2 CUP EVERY HOUR FOR THIRTY DAYS. I THEN STARTED SUFFERING FROM CLOTS THAT WERE SEVERLY PAINFUL, TO THE POINT OF BEING UNABLE TO MOVE. THE PROVERA SEEMED TO HELP THAT.
NOW I AM SUFFERING FROM CONTINUAL WEIGHT GAIN, ACHING MUSCLES, FATIGUE, SEVERE BREAKING OUT ON MY FACE AND A MUSTACHE AND HEAVIER HAIR ON MY EYEBROWS. ON MY CHIN I HAVE COARSE HAIR THAT I HAVE TO REMOVE EVERY OTHER DAY. EVERYTIME I TRY TO GO ON A DIET MY BODY REBELS. I BLOAT UP.
I RECENTLY HAD PNUEMONIA AND HAD TO BE HOSPITALIZED. DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT MY IMMUNE SYSTEM WAS VERY LOW. IT HAS BEEN AN UPHILL BATTLE. ANOTHER CONFUSING THING IS THAT I RUN A LOW GRADE FEVER ALL THE TIME. NO APPARENT CAUSE. COULD THIS BE CAUSED BY PECOS.
DR. PLEASE ANSWER ASAP. I HAVE A YEARLY EXAM WITH MY DOCTOR TOMORROW AND NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO ASK ABOUT. THANKS YOU FRAN
