Over 200 members of RESOLVE and supporters gathered outside The New York Academy Of Medicine to protest the New York Life and The Law recommendations aganist a New York State Mandate to cover infertility. The "Empty Stoller Rally" was the first of its kind in the country and received a tremendous amount of support from people in the street as well as from attendees inside the Task Force conference. The rally was covered by Fox TV News, Reuters, WABC, Insurance Broadcast Network, WMBC TV, Swiss National Television, Chicago Tribune, WCBS Radio, CBS Radio Network, WOR Radio and Fordham Radio. Press releases from the rally inspired additional media on related subjects by The New York Times, and NBC Television. This rally helped to raise awareness of the general public about the need for a Family Building Act in New York State.
